My Life In Knots: Lady Godiva Scarf

IMG_0044These three scarves were knitted with yarn I purchased at the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival from Dancing Leaf Farm.

A small sheep farm in rural Maryland, Dancing Leaf’s owner, Dalis Davidson, is renowned for her line of hand painted yarns, all IMG_2732vibrantly dyed in a rainbow of colors. It was love at first sight for me and I quickly snatched up three skeins.

Dalis makes her own patterns, which she provides with the purchase of yarn. These three are variations of her Lady Godiva scarf and knitted with the farm’s Slubby Nubby on size 11 needles.

Beautiful and feminine, all three made for great Christmas gifts.
